This walkthrough explains how to create a plan for blockages.
The blue dot shows your current position.
Select the first box location by selecting Add Point at Location.
You can also tap anywhere on the map to manually select your location.
Next, tap on an icon to select your cover type.
Scrolling downward shows more available cover types.
Tap Next to progress.
Select the surface type for your first point.
Multiple surfaces can be selected where required.
Tap Next to progress.
Number of Ducts
Specify the number of ducts by dragging the slider across.
You are now presented with the ducts based on your previous answer.
Tap and drag so that the circles resemble the actual duct formation.
Now tap on a duct to specify which of them requires clearance.
For more than one blockage, a separate blockage A55 would be carried out.
Number of Cables in Situ
Use the slider to now specify the number of cables in situ.
Proceed to the next stage by tapping Next.
Bore Full Percentage
Use the slider again to specify the estimated percentage of the bore that is full.
You will notice that the slider has a percentage based increments to help you select the best option.
Tap Done to proceed.
Point, Cover and Surface Type
Add your second point, and select its cover type.
Additionally, provide a surface type for this point.
Adding a Blockage
You will now see the two points connected by the red line.
Choose to Add Blockage at Location, or manually drop a pin on the line where it is needed.
Zoom in and out any time by pinching the screen to assist with this process.
Surface Type of Blockage
Specify the surface type of the blockage before proceeding.
Second Blockage/Finalise Plan
Finally, you can choose to add a second blockage if another exists, or select Finalise Plan.
Something not right? Head back using the arrow located on the top left at any time.
Finalising the Plan
Enter some final details for the job, beginning with inputting the Job and Estimate Number.
Tap to toggle the requirements for Red Route/Bus Lane and Private.
Add the Exchange of the location.
Finalising the Plan (cont.)
Specify the Duct Section and Cable Size.
Next, select the Traffic Management option needed from the dropdown menu.
Finally, provide some contact and date details before tapping Finalise Plan.
The map overview shows coordinates from the first point to the second, including the blockage(s) coordinates in between.
The lines show the distance of the first and second points from the blockage,
Tap Save to progress.
Completing the Plan
Selecting My Plans will now return you to the main screen.
